  Barbara was born into an Air Force family living in Georgia, France, Germany, Virginia, Ohio, Maine and Spain.  Wherever her father was stationed the family always made their way back to spend summers on Toddy Pond.  She married Steve Antell on the shore of Toddy in 1975.  They worked and lived in Shelburne, Vermont but summer vacation was always spent in the old cabin on Toddy.  They have two sons who also share their love for the area and the lake.  Now that she and Steve are retired, they split their time between Vermont in the winter and Maine in the summer.
