Donna was born in Connecticut and moved to Maine in 1978. In 1987 she purchased a camp on Middle Toddy Pond and spent 17 years renovating it into a year round home where she has lived full time since 2002.
Through word of mouth of neighbors on the pond, she heard of the existence of the Toddy Pond Environmental Association, and was interested in helping to preserve the health of the pond. She joined as a board member in 2003, becoming Vice President in 2007, and went on to serve as President in 2008, through 2016. Donna says "It was a privilege to have had a hand in growing the organization and in developing a greater sense of community amongst the members of the TPA. I am honored to return to the TPA and serve as Secretary on the Board of Directors to help protect the lake we love."
Donna worked as an Occupational Therapist until her retirement in 2016. She has 2 adult children and is grandmother of 4. Donna enjoys swimming, kayaking, and photographing nature around the pond.
