I am a baby boomer who grew up in Memphis, TN. I emigrated to Boston in ’69 and despite a
southern accent was able to complete Law School in the evenings while still enjoying Boston. I
practiced law in Massachusetts, State and Federal courts from 1976 to 2016, specializing in
criminal defense. Along the way I learned to appreciate Maine by following my wife on the trails
and becoming a very poor skier. I have two sons and one daughter who have all successfully
become adults, at times to my surprise. I have two grandkids and another on the way. I split
my time between Toddy Pond, Ipswich MA and Florida. I have only been coming to Toddy
Pond for a couple of years but I recognize it and its inhabitants as being worth special
attention. I am looking forward to contributing to the Toddy community.
