Marc was born in MA, went to college and medical school (BC and UMass Medical School) in Massachusetts. Met my wife in medical school. Did residencies in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Practiced as an Emergency Medical Physician at UMass Medical/UMass Memorial Medical Center for 31 years, and was in charge of the ambulance service for the City of Worcester and Umass Memorial Life Flight. I retired from UMass in 2019. Robin and I bought our land on Toddy in 2000 and slowly had our house built. Robin, myself and our two children, Matt and Alison spent a part of every summer in Maine, mostly on Toddy, but also camping in Acadia National Park with friends. In September of 2019 sold our home in Massachusetts and made Toddy our year round home. Since retiring I've been active in several Orland Committees (Fire Station and Broadband Initiative) as well as continuing to teach in the Paramedic Program at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Robin and I volunteer for the Courtesy Boat Inspection and Robin is an Invasive Plant Patroller.
